Season 13 of "Road Rules" won't just be another season of six young-adult archetypes in an RV. This time, it's "X-Treme."

No, really -- it's right there in the title of the series, "Road Rules X-Treme in South America."

The six Roadies for this edition of the long-running MTV series -- which premieres at 10 p.m. ET Monday, June 7 -- will take their X-Treme RV (seriously. That's what MTV is calling it) through Argentina and Chile. Along the way, they'll face challenges like rappelling down a 210-foot waterfall and bungee-jumping over an active volcano.

As usual, if the team fails two challenges in a row, one of its members is sent packing.

Here's a brief bio of the six X-Treme "Road Rules" contestants:

  • Derrick is the son of Polish immigrants and was captain of his high school football, baseball and basketball teams despite standing only 5-foot-6. The Illinois native coaches youth football and favors short-term relationships.

  • Ibis is a "spunky little firecracker," MTV says. The 19-year-old was born in Puerto Rico and moved with her family to Florida at age 10. She holds strongly to her beliefs and attends Mass every Sunday.

  • Kina is 20 and tired of men constantly wanting her and women always being jealous. Although often accused of being self-centered, she "also has an extremely compassionate side."

  • Patrick, 20, attends an Ivy League school, where he's a wrestler. Originally from Illinois, he's majoring in biology with the hope of becoming a surgeon and providing for his single mother.

  • Daniel has a boyfriend of 10 months but says he's still attracted to women as well. The 21-year-old from New Jersey lives with his mom and "prides himself on his masculinity," MTV says.

  • Jodi is the oldest member of the group at 23. She has a "work hard, play hard" philosophy and prefers sports and cars over more typically girly things. She recently ended a long-term relationship and is enjoying her new singlehood.
